I have seen many films of drawings, comedy, love, war ... and almost all have liked me but my favorites are:

Toy Story 

 

Little Andy lives happily with his toys, especially his favorite, Woody the cowboy and astronaut Buzz Lightyear. Whenever the boy leaves his room, the toys come to life and form a friendly community where everyone is involved in one way or another. But what Andy know is that during the day he moves with his classmates at summer camp, a mordant and despotic toy collector named Al McWhiggin, use its output to steal from Woody. Only toys know the whereabouts of his partner Woody, which produced a bailout led by the best friend Woody toy, the entrepreneur and courageous Buzz Lightyear, who is convinced his good friend recover with the support of those who considers his family, even if they have to overcome a host of obstacles.

Fantastic Four

 

Four astronauts become superheroes after being contaminated in outer space. It all starts when the lifelong dream of inventor astronaut and scientist Dr. Reed Richards is very close to fruition. Reed wants to go on a trip to outer space, the center of a cosmic storm. There, he hopes to uncover the secrets of the genetic code of human beings for the benefit of humanity. Reed's crew for the mission consists of his best friend, astronaut Ben Grimm, Sue Storm, director of genetic research and Reed's ex-girlfriend, and the impulsive Sue's younger brother, pilot Johnny Storm. With benefactor of the project, the ambitious Von Doom, the four leave for the exploration of their lives. The mission runs smoothly until Reed discovers that there is a calculation error in the speed with which the storm approaches. Within minutes, the threshold of this atmospheric phenomenon is upon them. The space station is engulfed by turbulent clouds of cosmic radiation which change the genome of the crew. Its DNA is irrevocably altered .... and that will be your future. Back on Earth, the effects of exposure quickly show their first symptoms by giving each of them supernatural powers, becoming Fantastic Four: Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Girl, Human Torch and The Thing.

Alvin and the Chipmunks

 


Life of Dave Seville (Jason Lee), a composer without success, it is monotonous and frustrating, until it finds three chipmunks (Alvin, Simon and Theodore) coming from the forest. Dave them out from your home to find no squirrels speak naturally, but changes his mind when he hears singing and invites them to sing his lyrics. Dave goes to his record company to show your boss squirrels, but this the cheats for them to stay with him.

 

  

         

 Adventures of TinTin 

It tells the story of the curious and insatiable young journalist Tintin and his loyal dog Snowy as they discover that the model of a ship contains explosive secret. Driven by a mystery centenary, Tintin is in the crosshairs of Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine, a diabolical villain who believes Tintin has stolen a priceless treasure tied to a vicious pirate named Red Rackham. But with the help of his dog Snowy, the acerbic, curmudgeonly Captain Haddock and the bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson, Tintin will travel half the world, always going one step ahead and outsmarting his enemies, in a chase to find the place where finally rests "the Unicorn", a sunken ship that may hold the key to a fortune and an ancient curse.

 Pirates of the Caribbean

The plot revolves around Elizabeth, a young aristocrat who is also the daughter of Governor Weatherby Swann, who tries to force her to marry in any way with Captain James Norrington. However, she lives secretly in love with his childhood friend, Will Turner, who will not allow the dispossessed Norrington.
Along the way, some Defortuna pirates attack the colony in which they live and kidnap the girl for the purpose of taking a medallion that will help them break the eternal curse to which they have been convicted of stealing a cursed treasure. Desperate, Turner goes to Captain Jack Sparrowpirate despises but it will serve key to find the boat where the damsel.However, both Sparrow and Turner will face during their journey to the huge ocean cursed crew of that peculiarly passed out on a ship captained by Sparrow, which suffer the condemnation that skeletons becomes insensitive when the moonlight touches .

In this entry I show some inventions that were made many years ago.

The dishwashe was invented by Josephine Cochrane in 1886.

The windscreen wipers were invented by Mary Anderson in 1903.

The disposable nappies was invented by Marion Donovan in 1950.

The tipp-Ex was invented by Bette Nesmith Graham in 1956.

The bullet-proof vest was invented by Stephanie Kwolek in 1966.





 





The vacuum cleaner was invented by William Hoover in 1908






 






The washing machine was invented by Alva Fisher in 1901.















The biro was invented by Ladislao Josef Biro in 1940.

Did you know...?

Text-messaging was invented by the Finnish company Nokia. They wanted to help Finnish teenagers, who were very shy. They found it easier to text their friends than to phone them.

The firts bikini was design by two Frenchmen. It was name after Bikini Atoll, the island where the atomic bomb was first tested. The Frenchmen thought that the bikini would have a silimar effect on men as a bomb exploding.

Light bulbs are create specially to last only a certain number of hours. It would be possible to make light bulbs that lasted forever, but then the manufacturers wouldn´t make so much money.

The first Harry Potter book was write in a café in Edinburgh. JK Rowling was unemployed, and dhe didn´t have enough money to pay for  heating, so she wrote it in the café where it was warmer.

Although penicilin was discover by Alexander Fleming, he didn´t know how hoe to make it into a medicine. It was first made into a medicine ten years later, by an Australian scientist Howasrd Florey.

Spiders were use as a cure for toothache in the 17th century. They were first made into a paste, an then put one the bad tooth.

Sherlock Holmes, the great detective was desing by writer Arthur Conan Doyle. Holmes was base on a real person - Doyle's teacher at medical school, who was famous for saying to his studets, 'What can tell me by just observing the patient?'

Alfred Hitchock:
                       
Born in London on August 13, 1899, Alfred Hitchcock worked for a short time in engineering before entering the film industry in 1920. He left for Hollywood in 1939, where his first American film, Rebecca, won an Academy Award for best picture. Hitchcock created more than 50 films, including the classics Rear Window, The 39 Steps and Psycho. Nicknamed the "Master of Suspense," Hitchcock received the AFI's Life Achievement Award in 1979. He died in 1980.



 Quentin Tarantino:             

Born in Tennessee in 1963, Quentin Tarantino grew up loving movies more than school. In his early 20s, he got a job at the Video Archives, where he wrote the scripts for True Romance and Natural Born Killers. His directorial debut came with 1992's Reservoir Dogs, but he received wide critical and commercial acclaim with Pulp Fiction (1994), which earned more than $108 million at the box office—the first independent film to do so. In 2003 and 2004
Tarantino released his Kill Bill series, which led to a Golden Globe nomination for Uma Thurman, who starred in the films. Tarantino was later nominated for two Academy Awards (best director and best original screenplay) for the film Inglourious Basterds (2009).

James Cameron is a critically acclaimed film director known for some of the biggest box-office hits of all time. A science fiction fan as a child, he went on to produce and direct films including The Terminator, Aliens and Avatar. He has received numerous Academy Awards and nominations for his often large-scale, expensive productions. His most noted work, 1997's Titanic, became the first film to earn more than $1 billion,and landed 14 Academy Award nominations. Cameron took home three Oscars himself for the project, including for best director, best film editing and best picture.
